Investing in a Sustainable Future: A New Fortem AAC Factory with Advanced Technology and Minimal Environmental Impact

The team at DVI Production, a fully Romanian company and owner of the FORTEM brand, has inaugurated a new autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) factory in Iernut, Mureș County, combining state-of-the-art technology with a clear sustainability vision. With a €40 million greenfield investment, this project establishes the largest AAC production facility in Europe, with a daily capacity of 2,000 m³ and infrastructure designed to meet future market requirements.

The Fortem factory was designed from the ground up as a benchmark in energy efficiency and sustainability within the construction sector. Our technologies significantly reduce natural resource consumption, optimize production flows, and help lower carbon emissions.

The factory spans over 10,000 m² and is strategically located with direct access to the Transylvania Motorway. The project creates over 100 jobs and actively contributes to local and regional economic development.
