April 23, 2025 – Europe’s Largest AAC Factory Opens in Iernut
DVI Production has inaugurated a new autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) factory in Iernut, Mureș County, following a greenfield investment of approximately €40 million. The facility is the largest of its kind in Europe, with a daily production capacity of 2,000 m³ and fully integrating state-of-the-art, fully automated technology.
Located on a site spanning over 10,000 m² near the Transylvania Motorway, the factory will produce a wide range of AAC blocks in various densities and dimensions. In the near future, the product portfolio will expand to include AAC panels, targeting international markets.

The facility is fully digitalized, with each product monitored via QR technology, enabling real-time traceability and rigorous quality control. Additionally, an in-house accredited laboratory tests every AAC batch according to the highest international standards.
